A family race towards San Salvador 2023U

With an atmosphere of brotherhood and before the opening whistle, boxer Cristian “Dinamita” Jiménez, was in charge of conducting the warm-up for the participants of the first family race towards the 2023 San Salvador Games, which took place yesterday at Plaza Salvador del Mundo.

The activity, which was organized by the Volunteering Program of the Organizing Committee of the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023, was supported by the Municipal Institute of sports and Recreation of the Mayor of San Salvador (IMDER).

René Rodríguez, from the San Salvador 2023 Volunteering Program, explained that the race is part of a series of events that will take place in the capital to encourage people to be part of the Central American and Caribbean Games, which will be held from June 23rd to July 8th.

“This family-oriented, recreational race was organized to let the volunteers and the population start experiencing the 2023 San Salvador Games”, Rodríguez expressed.

Along these lines, René, who also participated in the race, ensured that they pretended to keep encouraging the population to join as volunteers to experience the regional event from the operations area.

“Our goal is to continue signing up people that demonstrate interest, disposition, and responsibility to be part of the volunteering team. Volunteers are an important part of the organization because they are the soul of the Games that will begin on June 23rd in our country”, René pointed out.

COSSAN2023 expects to have 4,000 volunteers in different areas for the Central American and Caribbean Games 2023.
