The different chiefs of areas from the Organizing Committee of the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023 (COSSAN2023), made a presentation about the logistics and the respective work plans to the representatives from Centro Caribe Sports and the delegation from Santo Domingo Sub-venue.

“For the Games, the Security Department has direct support from the Army, the National Civil Police and other institutions that are working directly,” Mejía said.

“The Government is looking at the Games as a country topic. For security topics there has been a lot of coordination and the structure we have seen is working,” Dinora Acevedo, General Director for COSSAN2023, emphasized.

In the Medical Service and Doping area, Rafael Morales, from INDES Applied Sciences and Coordinator of this area, detailed the inter-institutional plan that will be executed during the San Salvador2023 Games.

On his part, Hugo Salazar, Chief of the Volunteer Program, explained the volunteer recruitment process.

“The idea is not to have volunteers for fun, but rather to have them fulfill a function. They are going to be our ambassadors, they will help us solve situations,” said Salazar.

The topic for NOC Support and Service, as well as Transportation and Food, was developed by Lucrecia de Calderón, General Secretary for COSSAN2023.
