Our volunteers are still in action for the San Salvador Games 2023N

With 11 more days to go until the start of the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023, our volunteers do not stop in their mission to spread their joy and passion.

San Salvador is ready to be the sports capital of the region from June 23 to July 8, with millions of eyes on the sports venues that will witness the best athletes of Central America and the Caribbean shine.

But this would not be possible without the invaluable contribution of the thousands of volunteers who, day after day, help us organize the San Salvador 2023 Games.

This Monday morning, a group of volunteers took to the streets, specifically to Boulevard Los Héroes, where they shared with drivers on this main street of the capital.

During the activity, volunteers were able to give away promotional items for the games as well as provide more information about the world’s oldest regional sporting event.

Flor Pacheco was one of the volunteers in attendance this morning and expressed her delight in helping to make these games a success.

“I have always liked to collaborate; I was already involved with the Special Olympics, and I liked it a lot, so now I decided to get involved with the Central American and Caribbean Games,” she said.

The volunteer also said she is very excited about what she is experiencing with just a couple of days to go: “It is a very exciting feeling because we are sharing and experiencing wonderful moments with different people; it is a nice adrenaline rush,” she added.
