Public Works Ministry begins work at the 2023 Games Village

The Ministry of Public Works (MOP) began today the intervention works in the central campus of the University of El Salvador, which will function as the Central American Village of the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023.

Dozens of MOP workers removed the desks in the buildings of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, that will be used to house the athletes during the Games, which begin next June.

“There will be companies working on the buildings, but there are previous works that have to be done to remove and prepare the spaces,” said Dinora Acevedo, Managing Director from COSSAN. A few hours before the arrival of the MOP teams, Acevedo and the Head of Infrastructure from COSSAN, Rolando Ayala, met with the Engineering and Architecture Faculty Dean, Edgar Peña
