The Central American and Caribbean Fire arrived at the east!

This Thursday the Central American and Caribbean Fire continued its journey through the national territory, specifically in the eastern part of the country.

After spending the night in the municipality of Mercedes Umaña, in the department of Usulután, the fire began its journey this morning visiting the municipalities of El Triunfo, Moncagua, Chapeltique, Guatajiagua, Yamabal, Sensembra and San Francisco Gotera, in the department of Morazán, where it will spend the night to begin its journey tomorrow.

With just over a week to go before the start of the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023, the Central American and Caribbean Fire has taken the illusion, courage and enthusiasm of the games to a good part of the national territory, with the mission of traveling through each of the 14 departments of the country.

Tomorrow, the fire will leave San Francisco Gotera for the destinations of San Carlos, El Divisadero, Jocoro, Santa Rosa, Desvío El Amatillo, Desvío Los Mangos, Parque Central de La Unión, Base Naval de La Unión, and will spend the night in Isla Meanguera.

The journey of the fire will end next Friday, June 23rd, when it enters the Estadio Nacional Jorge “El Mágico” González and opens the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023.
