The second visit of the Technical Commission of Centro Caribe Sports ended with a review of karate

The Technical Commission of Centro Caribe Sports (CCS) concluded this Tuesday the second visit to the country, which had as objective to continue with the revision of competition calendars, technical manuals and sport scenarios, all this within the planning of the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023.

The second team of Centro Caribe Sports was formed by the Venezuelan Víctor Vargas, the Colombian Julio Roberto Gómez, the Mexican Karla Lecona and the Dominican Tony Mesa.

“We make a positive balance, we made a physical approach with several sports and, a year before the Games, we are in time to make an organization to ensure the success of this version of the Games in San Salvador,” said Julio Roberto Gomez, member of the Technical Commission of Centro Caribe Sports.

Gómez highlighted the advances and foresees a good outlook for the Organizing Committee of the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023.

“I see that the Organizing Committee has worked conscientiously and has clear plans; we know that from now on COSSAN, Centro Caribe Sports and the confederations must join efforts for these Games to be a successful sporting reality, the fundamental is there and I know that all the elements are in place for these Games to be held successfully in El Salvador,” expressed the Colombian technical delegate.

“The balance is positive, we are looking at the facilities and there are many more good things and

I believe that as of June 23 there will be new lights with everything that is image and has to do with the operational part. I am very happy because we see a multidisciplinary team working”, commented the Venezuelan Víctor Vargas.

KARATE PASSED TECHNICAL REVIEW

The visit of the second technical team of Centro Caribe Sports concluded with a meeting with the Dominican José Luis Ramírez, international karate technical delegate, at the Palacio de los Deportes Carlos “El Famoso” Hernández.

Karate was another of the sports to be added to the list of disciplines that already have the respective technical review.

After the meeting, the delegates and technical nexus of the Organizing Committee of the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2022 toured the floor of the Palacio de los Deportes Carlos “El Famoso” Hernández and the Sports Complex of the University of El Salvador (UES).

In addition to karate, bowling, track and field athletics, bodybuilding, artistic gymnastics, trampoline gymnastics, archery, triathlon, swimming, artistic swimming, chess, fencing, tennis, softball, water polo and sailing, among others, have already had their technical review.
