WHAT IS VOLUNTEERING 2023?

These are activities that people will develop within a great sport event during the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Games in San Salvador 2023, including the alternate host city in Santo Domingo.

There is no employment, commercial or compensation relationship with those involved.

Those actions promote solidarity for the benefit of sports.

The volunteers for San Salvador 2023 are characterized by giving their best, developing skills and acquiring competencies to achieve a successful Central American and Caribbean Games. We want to honor the sportsmanship of the athletes, officials, delegates, and even national and foreign visitors who are part of this event, by always showing:

The XXIV edition of the Central American and Caribbean Games is a great opportunity to represent dynamism and energy which contribute  to the development of an innovative sport culture.

We have the opportunity to share, interact and exchange knowledge with different cultures, showing enthusiasm and all values that characterize the volunteers, to create ties of friendship, and unique-invaluable experiences.

CATEGORIES TO PARTICIPATE IN VOLUNTEERING 2023:

  • Technical/sport support to athletes and delegations.
  • Medical care and comprehensive health services support.
  • Protocol (translators, support to delegations, award ceremonies).
  • Operational and logistical support in Central American and Caribbean village during the sport events
  • IT support
  • Technical support in media, marketing, and branding.

REGISTRATION

CLICK on VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION 2023.Upload a digital photo of yourself.You must be clear in which of the cities you want to work as a volunteer, either San Salvador, or Santo Domingo.Fill out the registration form with all requested information.You will receive an email, confirming that your request has been successfully processed.

SELECTION

A few days after your registration, you will receive an email to inform you about the steps to follow in the process.
3.

GENERAL TRAINING

At the beginning of 2023 you will receive, virtually and asynchronously, a general training for your role as a volunteer.
4.

ALLOCATION

Once your general training is completed, you will be assigned to the team where you will make your contribution as a volunteer.
5.

SPECIFIC TRAINING

Once in your assigned team, you will receive specific training in order to be able to play an optimal role in your respective volunteer area.
6.

ACCREDITATION

Upon completion of the previous phases, you will be able to obtain the card and the tools that certify you as a VOLUNTEER FOR SAN SALVADOR 2023, giving you access to the different sporting events and other benefits.

INCORPORATION

You will be given all the instructions, get the calendars and all necessary equipment to develop your best work as a VOLUNTEER FOR SAN SALVADOR 2023. All according to your time availability. YOU ARE ALREADY PART of the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023!

REGISTRATION

CLICK on VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION 2023. Upload a digital photo of yourself. You must be clear in which of the cities you want to work as a volunteer, either San Salvador, or Santo Domingo. REQUIREMENTS

  • If you are underage, you must be 15 years old by December 31st, 2022, and have the authorization of your family head or legal tutor.
  • If you are over 18 or older, you must have your Unique Identity Document (DUI), DNI (for Santo Domingo subsite) or a valid passport as of July 31st, 2023.
  • Complete the registration form
  • Responsible, dynamic, enthusiastic, motivated, and willing to be part of the Central American and Caribbean Games of San Salvador 2023.

You will receive your respective credential at the end of the training modules, and then a diploma of participation at the end of your role as a VOLUNTEER in the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023. 

Your training and participation as a SAN SALVADOR 2023 VOLUNTEER will be certified, allowing you to present it for future programs, projects, or job opportunities.

Wear it always with pride in all your days as a San Salvador 2023 volunteer since you are a fundamental part of this great celebration at national and international level.

Your meals will be guaranteed according to your activity shifts during the Central American and Caribbean Games, San Salvador 2023.

According to the schedules and tasks assigned, as defined and coordinated by the organizers, transportation could be arranged to take you to the location where you will be volunteering.
