Volunteers celebrate the arrival of the month of games

Dozens of young people from the San Salvador 2023 Games Volunteer Program flooded two important arteries of the capital city this morning to hand out and paste stickers to thousands of motorists, motorcyclists, and even public transportation users.

The activity was held at 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Avenida La Revolución and Alameda Roosevetl in San Salvador, where volunteers spread laughter and cheers to drivers who willingly stopped to get their stickers.

This activity took place one day before the beginning of June, the month that will mark the genesis of the oldest sporting event in the region.

The opening ceremony of the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Games will take place on June 23 at 7:00 p.m. at the Estadio Jorge “El Mágico” González.

There will be 16 days of competition in which athletes from 37 countries will see action in 37 sports and 53 sports disciplines, according to our website, sansalvador2023.com, which is already 23 days into the countdown to the big kick-off.
